1. Who is Greenworks Heating Oil & Propane?
Greenworks Heating Oil & Propane was started in 2009, by Lehigh Valley business people. With successful backgrounds in the oil business and logistics, the founders felt the time was right for a revolutionary change in the way heating oil and propane was marketed and sold to consumers.
By using the latest technology and simplifying the ordering process, Greenworks can deliver heating oil and propane less expensive than our competitors.
2. Does Greenworks deliver inferior quality oil and propane?
Absolutly not! We purchase product from the same suppliers that our competitors do.
3. Is ordering online safe?
Yes. Not only is our website secure, but Greenwork’s automated system stores customer information in an encrypted format, eliminating the potential for employees or delivery drivers from viewing your credit card or personal data.
4. Why does Greenworks offer a $0.05 discount for ordering online?
Greenworks prices directly reflect our costs. The online ordering process is automated, similar to websites like Amazon and Buy.com. Once you place the order, your credit card is pre-authorized, the order is dispatched to one of our trucks, delivered and posted to our accounting system automatically. This leaves no room for error, bounced checks, or monies getting lost. These savings are passed to you, our customers.
5. Can you place an order with Greenworks by phone?
Yes, but please understand that you will not receive the $0.05 discount.
6. What are the methods of payments for online orders?
Greenworks accepts Debit, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
7. Do I have to be home for my delivery?
No, that’s part of the beauty of ordering online. The driver must have access to the fill pipe and you MUST have an operating vent alarm (whistle).
8. Can I pay by cash or check?
Yes you can, but not online. Greenworks requests that you are home for the delivery or leave the cash or check in an envelope where the driver can easily find it. If you are not home and forget to leave the money, there will will a $25 fee charged to your account to redeliver.
9. Does Greenworks offer Automatic Delivery or only COD?
Currently Greenworks only offers COD. We are growing rapidly, expanding our delivery service and adding additional programs and payment options. Stay tuned for exciting things to come like Budgets, Automatic, Pre-Buys and Price Protection.
10. Does Greenworks offer full service on your heating equipment?
Yes and No. Although we do not have our own service employees, we can recommend an independent licensced HVAC service repair company that services your area.
11. What if I need to cancel my oil or propane delivery?
If you need to cancel your order, please do so on our site. You will receive an email confirming your cancelation.
12. Can I know the time the delivery will arrive?
Deliveries are routed using our logistics software. Traffic, weather and other unexpected events can alter the time that your deliver will arrive. Please order oil or propane when you have at least 3 days worth of product left in your tank.
13. You are going to run out of oil or propane any minute. Can you get oil or propane today?
Yes. There is an extra charge of $________ for going off route. If you ran out already, and we need to relight your burners or pilot lights, there is an additional charge of $____ as well.
14. If there a minimum number of gallons you have to order?
Yes, 150 for oil, and 75 for propane. Please note that the minimum number of gallons needs to be met at time of delivery. If the minimum number of gallons is not met, the customer will be responsible for payment of at least the minimum number of gallons.
